1-3 year program
Our supported living service offers a longer-term solution for individuals who need additional time and support to prepare for independent living. This programme typically lasts between 1-3 years, providing:
- Stable Housing: Residents have their own living space within our supported accommodation.
- Personalised Support Plans: We work with each resident to develop goals and create a tailored plan to achieve them.
- Regular Reviews: Progress is monitored and support adjusted as needed to ensure residents continue moving forward.
Skills Development
A key focus of our supported living programme is equipping residents with the skills they need for independent living:
- Life Skills Training: We offer workshops and one-to-one support in areas such as budgeting, cooking, and maintaining a home.
- Educational Opportunities: We connect residents with educational programmes to improve their employability.
- Work Readiness: Our team assists with CV writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
Ongoing Treatment and Support
We understand that many of our residents are dealing with complex issues that require ongoing support:
- Mental Health Support: We work closely with mental health services to ensure residents receive the care they need.
- Substance Misuse Treatment: As a 'wet house', we allow controlled alcohol consumption while supporting residents who wish to address substance misuse issues.
- Holistic Wellbeing: We offer activities and programmes that promote physical health, mental wellbeing, and social connection.
Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness
Our end-to-end housing model is designed to provide a seamless journey from crisis to stability. By offering a continuum of support - from emergency accommodation to supported living and eventually independent housing - we aim to break the cycle of homelessness permanently.
We measure our success not just in the number of nights of accommodation provided, but in the long-term outcomes for our residents. Our innovative approach, combining housing with comprehensive support, has led to remarkable stability:
-
Over 78,000 room nights provided
-
Support given to nearly 2,300 individuals
-
Less than 2% of residents asked to leave due to behavioural issues
These statistics reflect our commitment to creating a stable environment where individuals can focus on rebuilding their lives, rather than worrying about their next meal or where they'll sleep.
